Get in the Game! The Campaign for Underhill Donations

Make a contribution that will make a difference in the lives of our kids and our community today.

Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of CHS alumni and South Orange and Maplewood community members, the CHS Alumni Association raised over $1,300,000 for the new track and artificial turf field at the Underhill Sports Complex. The new track and the Lynn V. Profeta turf field were completed last fall and are now a great source of pride for both CHS students and the citizens of Maplewood and South Orange.

Fundraising for the state-of-the-art night lighting system is ongoing. We need to raise $95,000 more to install the lighting system which will enable high school and youth sports to be played in the evening, thus increasing the capacity of the field, . The Lynn V. Profeta field is the only artificial turf field in Maplewood and South Orange and it is in high demand!
